First Trimester '25
It was a wonderful, warm and fun first term of the year, one we call our St. Joseph Term. We enjoyed our time together in the sun, learning about plants and the water cycle, and reading lovely literature. We thoroughly enjoyed our first Little House novel, Little House in the Big Woods . It was truly as delightful as I imagined it would be, but much too short. It was fascinating to each of us to imagine that our grandparents and great grandparents had a much similar life in their European villages not so long ago. Our desire to live in a little log cabin surely has never been stronger! Many feast and saint days were celebrated, and although we predominantly celebrate feast days with attendance at Holy Mass, we do love our St. Valentine’s Day card tradition! Sweet notes were penned and delivered to loved ones nearby, including to their beautiful newborn cousin. General found time to beat Dad at chess…. and add more animal friends to his Plus-Plus model collection, among them an elephant...
